Where glass meets photovoltaic
PV cells embedded in the glass convert the sun rays into electricity while allowing daylight to pass through the module. The photovoltaic cells remain visible and opaque, clearly expressing the energy-producing function of the façade.
Technical characteristics
- 2 transparent laminated glass panes (possibly integrated to make a Double Glass Unit)
- PV cells are encapsulated between the 2 glass panes
- Distance between cells controllable to a certain extend allowing light to go through
- Power output depending on level of transparency
